Wedding color palette

How did you and Colton meet?
Colton and I met at a law school visiting day for prospective students. He sat at my table during lunch and we talked for most of the afternoon. We remained friends throughout law school until the final semester when we both realized how much we liked each other. We’ve been connected at the hip ever since.

How did he propose?
Colton proposed at The Grand Hotel in Fairhope, Alabama on the Fourth of July. He took me there under the guise of meeting his family for dinner. We walked through the gardens and stopped at a bench underneath a sprawling oak tree next to a lovely little pond filled with ducks. That is where he got on one knee and asked me to marry him.

Cake flavors
We went with a traditional almond wedding cake, but we added a twist by using blue icing. The groom’s cake was devil’s food cake with chocolate icing.

First dance song
La Vie En Rose by Louis Armstrong

Most memorable moments from your wedding day?
Getting a moment alone together upstairs during our sweetheart dinner. It was a wonderful second to breathe and enjoy each other’s presence before we went downstairs and joined the party.

Another memorable moment was kneeling next to each other and holding hands during the mass. We were both holding back tears and overwhelmed with the significance and joy of the moment.

Also we will never forget nailing the dip at the end of our first dance.

Every moment was so memorable to us. We enjoyed every second of the day and wish we could relive it over and over again.
