There is so much beauty in the seemingly ordinary, and I believe in documenting every season of life. I am a storyteller and strive to create a relaxed environment for you to feel comfortable enough to be your true self in front of the camera. To laugh and to dance. I catch the beautifully raw moments as they unfold. Not only do I capture a glimpse into your life, I have the privilege of telling your story. I would love to get to know you. Let's get coffee!
Lane and Chad’s brunch wedding at the Greenery was a treat. Their laid back nature spilled over into the perfect wedding day celebration for their close friends and family. “Nothing Fancy, Just Love” is the perfect way to describe it! This was my first time shooting at the Greenery in Amite, and I completely fell in love! Give me all the natural light and fiddle leaf fig plants! Capturing the sweet emotions of the day and eating chicken and waffles with the bride and groom were pretty fantastic. Lane is one of my favorite local artists, and it was an honor photographing her wedding day!
Christina and Stuart's Felicity Church wedding was lush, romantic, and everything New Orleans. Click here to read all about it!
Strolling the ancient streets of Florence with my best friends searching for the yummiest gelato made this one of my favorite trips yet. Florence is my favorite city in the world. Distant music carries through the cobblestone streets, the ancient architecture literally takes your breath away, and the handmade pasta is delicious. We spent several days in an Airbnb that overlooked the dome of Florence, and we woke up to the church bells every morning. That was my favorite part of the trip. I felt immersed in the culture and truly present. We drove out to Tuscany the second half of the trip and stayed at Villa Barberino. (Super dreamy!) I could get lost in the rolling hills of Tuscany. I already can’t wait to go back. The last 10 photos are of Emma and I taken by my best friend, Catherine Masters.
Perfect, fun, us. Our wedding was exactly what we wanted for each other and for our guests. Every bride will tell you there are things that they would go back and change of course but mine are all small insignificant details that only I would notice being changed.
My favorite parts of the trip:
– midcentury modern architecture
– cactus… everywhere!
– morning pour over coffee and quiet time to reflect
– meditation and relaxation in the desert
– the insane amount of windmills in Palm Springs
– playing some tunes on the record player in Joshua Tree
This trip inspired me and was a must needed boost to start this wedding season!

It was an honor working alongside Souris Rose at Villa Barberino for Inspire Design Workshop. This shoot is what dreams are made of. Beautiful blooms by Erin Steen.
“Can a heart burst? Some moments I feel so overwhelmed with love for these little people who have saturated every aspect of my life. The love is so intense that it feels like my heart might just explode. I get to do life with these amazing, adventurous, perfect little humans. Learning and growing alongside them. It’s incredible the perception shift I’ve gone through over the years. At first I thought it was my job to shape and mold my little babies. Like they were blank slates waiting for my input. Over time I’ve realized they are fully formed little humans that I get to gently guide, but they are each their own person.
Reid and I met at his cousin’s debutante ball. However, we did not date until a year later when we exchanged numbers at an LSU tailgate. Reid proposed in the LSU Quad by a beautiful oak tree. Our dear friend was a surprise photographer and our dog was there wearing a bandana that said “She said yes!”
