There is so much beauty in the seemingly ordinary, and I believe in documenting every season of life. I am a storyteller and strive to create a relaxed environment for you to feel comfortable enough to be your true self in front of the camera. To laugh and to dance. I catch the beautifully raw moments as they unfold. Not only do I capture a glimpse into your life, I have the privilege of telling your story. I would love to get to know you. Let's get coffee!

So, Santorini is a dream land. It has always been a place that I wanted to visit, and it definitely lived up to all of my expectations. I visited the island with my dear friends, Catherine and Devin Masters. We explored for several days, and covered just about every square inch of the island. We stayed in a very cool Airbnb in Firostefani (right by Fira) for the first part of the week. We had a perfect view of the volcano and were right in the middle of town. My bedroom faced the ocean, and I woke up to open windows allowing the cool breeze and morning sun to pour in. It was truly amazing.

Luana and David’s dreamy winter Christ Church Cathedral + Elms Mansion Wedding is what dreams are made of. These two had so much chemistry, a high energy wedding party surrounding them with support and love, and did I mention the gorgeous blooms by Iris Floral? Let’s relive their gorgeous wedding day!

Hello! I am your photographer, Lauren Carroll, and this is my home office tour. I feel that it is important for my clients to get to know me and to see my creative space where I find my inspiration and make dreams happen! This is where I meet with my couples, make phone calls, email, edit GORGEOUS weddings, design wedding albums, and brainstorm the future of my business. When I moved into my home last summer, this was the first room that I started working on. I just knew the amazing potential of this little nook. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the tour!

Joshua Tree and Palm Springs was the perfect getaway with my darling friend, Kali Norton. We stayed in the most unique Airbnbs I have ever seen.

My favorite parts of the trip:
– midcentury modern architecture
– cactus… everywhere!
– morning pour over coffee and quiet time to reflect
– meditation and relaxation in the desert
– the insane amount of windmills in Palm Springs
– playing some tunes on the record player in Joshua Tree

This trip inspired me and was a must needed boost to start this wedding season!

“Paris is always a good idea.” – Audrey Hepburn

Paris has always been on my list of places to visit. It was just as magical as I imagined. There were flower shops on every corner. Hot wine, macarons, and crepes in almost every cafe. I traveled to Paris with my mother and Emma. We stopped at a cafe as soon as we arrived and ordered hot wine and a cheese board. It started to snow outside, and our magical week exploring Paris had begun.

We visited my dear friend Joye’s childhood home (a beautiful ranch in Nebraska.) We slept in tents under the stars. We held each other’s babies while taking turns stirring the dinner pot, rode trucks through the Sandhills, explored the creeks, and laughed until we cried. This is what summer dreams are made of.

When Annie and Derek reached out to me about their Pontchartrain Hotel New Orleans elopement, I knew we’d make a perfect fit. We casually chatted about how they met, their favorite places to travel together, and what brings them to New Orleans to elope. They love the magic of the city. Once their big day arrived, we sipped champagne and explored the Pontchartrain Hotel for the perfect wedding day portraits. The Hot Tin Rooftop Bar has the BEST view of the city. Enjoy this dreamy elopement!
