How did you and Kyle meet?
We met the old fashioned way… car shopping! Haha! Funny enough, Kyle was the one who showed me around the dealership when I was buying my new car…fast forward 6 months later and he finally got the courage to ask me out. Our first date was at Galatoire’s in New Orleans and the rest is history!

How did he propose?
Kyle proposed on the North Shore right before a family dinner. We were actually celebrating his niece’s birthday, and I wouldn’t leave the gift in the car. I could tell Kyle was getting so frustrated with me about the gift, but I was so confused why he was having such an issue. After, I realized what was happening…the gold present bag will live on forever in our engagement photos! It was perfect though because he had a photographer there to capture the proposal, he had both of our families there to celebrate with a catered dinner from Pat Gallagher’s 527 Restaurant & Bar!

Most memorable moment from the wedding day
Our first look was really special in City Park. It was a moment for us to be completely mushy without being embarrassed of who was watching.

Why New Orleans?
New Orleans has a spirit and energy that screams “Celebrate!” We wanted our guests to be excited the entire wedding weekend and we knew as soon as we booked our favorite band, Az IzZ, we knew they would bring the party we were looking for to our favorite city! Also, we’ve both grown up coming to the French Quarter for special occasions at City Park, Cafe Amelie, Commander’s, Galatoire’s, Brennan’s and of course dessert at Cafe Du Monde. When we got engaged, it was a no brainer, we knew our guests would love this city as much as we do!
