“I have a famous neighbor. Her name is Mrs. Frances Chauvin aka ‘The Pie Lady.’ Her pies have been eaten by U.S. Presidents, Senators, and even Robin Roberts of Good Morning America (side note: Robin worked for Mrs. Chauvin in college. It was her first job in broadcasting!) Chef John Besh is a huge fan of The Pie Lady, too.
She’s 85 and can run circles around any 30 year old. She’s one of my greatest inspirations.
This is a lovely video of her doing what she does best – making homemade pies.” – My neighbor and friend, Brenna Barzenick, wrote these words perfectly.
Mrs. Frances is a gem who has blessed thousands of people with her generosity and delicious pie. I am so lucky to know her and her sweet family.
