So, Santorini is a dream land. It has always been a place that I wanted to visit, and it definitely lived up to all of my expectations. I visited the island with my dear friends, Catherine and Devin Masters. We explored for several days, and covered just about every square inch of the island. We stayed in a very cool Airbnb in Firostefani (right by Fira) for the first part of the week. We had a perfect view of the volcano and were right in the middle of town. My bedroom faced the ocean, and I woke up to open windows allowing the cool breeze and morning sun to pour in. It was truly amazing. I loved this trip because we left our itinerary wide open to explore and take the local’s advice on where to eat and which beaches to visit. The second half of the week, we stayed in Oia. Oia has the most magnificent sunsets and views. I just walked around with my camera and explored and stopped by restaurants and shops that caught my eye. Every place we visited had amaaazing food and the nicest people. We made so many friends, and I hated to leave them. Greek coffee is so interesting and delicious. It’s the first time I have enjoyed straight black coffee. My faves on the island: Santorini white wine, grilled octopus, and all of the fresh Greek salads. It was a culinary adventure. I cannot wait to visit again! (Hopefully for a destination wedding *wink*) Enjoy the dreaaammmy photos!
Our day in Athens:
Favorite Santorini restaurants:

Katina Fish Tavern
Oia Vineyart
Roka Tavern

Other attractions we visited:
Red beach
Akrotiri (Minoan Bronze Age settlement on the volcanic Greek island of Santorini (Thera). The settlement was destroyed in the Theran eruption about 1627 BC and buried in volcanic ash, which preserved the remains of fine Frescoes and many objects and artworks. The settlement has been suggested as a possible inspiration for Plato’s story of Atlantis.)
