If you LOVE fall colors and endless details, then you are going to love Kate and Tony’s Race & Religious wedding! Poppy & Mint worked their magic, as usual. Kate and Tony’s playfulness and love for one another shine through their photographs. What a wonderful October wedding celebration for these two! Enjoy!
Tony and Kate met in Baton Rouge at a Happy’s 5k race, and Tony proposed in a sweet and intimate way in their first home together in Uptown, New Orleans. <3
Processional- The Story by Brandi Carlile (played by Tanya and Dorise)
Recessional- September by Earth, Wind, and Fire (played by Tanya and Dorise)
First Dance- Stand by Me by Ben E. King
We chose almond wedding cake with buttercream icing. We also had some delicious treats such as fig pound cake, homemade pralines, great American cookies, and roman candy favors.
Favorite memory from the wedding day: Our first kiss as husband and wife and walking out to Tanya and Dorise playing September. Also seeing the cake for the first time. The flowers and decor turned out beautiful. We loved seeing our friends and family enjoying the DJ, and then we all jumped into the pool! Tony’s tux speedo made an appearance at the end of the night, which was pretty fabulous!
