It all started in March when my sister, my mom, and I were eating lunch at a cute little restaurant in Seaside, Florida. We were brainstorming ideas for my sister’s senior photos. Since I have photographed Ali for many projects, we wanted to do something different. That’s when we decided on a trip to New York City. Once I get an idea, I am determined to make it happen. I immediately ordered our plane tickets. Soon enough, we were flying to the big apple. The very first thing I noticed as we were flying over NYC, other than the statue of liberty, was the GORGEOUS fall colors!! Our trip kicked off with a food tasting tour in Greenwich Village. This is my favorite part of New York. The second day of our trip, a talented hair and make up stylist, Ivanka Lova, worked her magic on Ali. She looked absolutely stunning for her senior portrait session. We explored Fifth Avenue, Central Park, and Times Square. The highlight of my trip was photographing Ali in Times Square at night. I had my lights set up photographing her right in the middle of the street. Many people passing by were taking photos of her also! She looked like a star. Ali wore her knee length homecoming dress in 40 degree weather. What a good sport! I had an amazing time making memories and capturing this special turning point in my sister’s life.
Off to Broadway!
