Q: How do I book my wedding with you?
A: For detailed pricing and availability, please fill out my contact form. A $1,000 retainer and contract is required to secure the date. The quickest way to contact me is through email. I would also love to set up a meeting to talk wedding details and show you our albums and keepsakes over coffee.
Q: Do you travel?
A: Absolutely! I am based out of Southern Louisiana and shoot primarily in New Orleans and Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. I am available for travel worldwide. I have my passport ready. Let's go on an adventure!
Q: What kind of products do you offer?
A: I offer a wide range of products including: wooden engraved USB boxes, fine art prints, canvas wraps, vintage leather albums, legend albums, and linen albums. Our beautiful, fresh, and simple handmade albums are made of the finest silk and canvas cover materials. I custom design your album leaving you with a stunning final product to showcase your wedding.
Q: How many images will I receive from my wedding day?
A: For a full wedding day, you will receive between 600-800 edited photos in an online gallery with printing rights. The images are numbered and neatly organized into folders.
Q: Should I do a first look?
A: The great thing about doing a first look is that you have an intimate moment together as a couple. You will also receive more portraits together in natural light. Flawless, effortless natural light portraits. This is my favorite moment of the day to express my creativity. We can also take this time to get all of the wedding party and family formals finished before the ceremony starts. I still photograph the groom's priceless expression as he watches you walk down the isle. And the even greater news about doing a first look is that you can enjoy cocktail hour with family and friends and go straight into first dances and the PARTY!
Q: How long will it take to receive my wedding photos?
A: Approximately six to eight weeks. You will receive a sneak peek before the full wedding is posted. I keep open communication with my brides throughout the editing process. Your photos will first be available for viewing on your online gallery. Prints and canvases from my professional lab can be ordered straight off of your gallery. Then it is time to get started on your album!
Q: Do you have outfit suggestions for engagement photos?
A: Two outfits are allowed per engagement session. I always suggest one dressy and one casual outfit. Your outfit and location choice should reflect your personality as a couple. I can totally walk you through this and help you choose the best scenario for your photo session.
Q: I want formal pictures with my family. Do you do this?
A: Yes, I do. The majority of your wedding photos will be photojournalistic, real moments and those precious little details. I also set aside time for family portraits during first look or after the ceremony. Months before your wedding day, I will send a wedding survey asking for specific family photos and special requests that will have me 100% ready for your wedding day. This helps the process go by smoothly and effortlessly.
Q: Do you also offer wedding videography?
A: No. I currently only offer video for lifestyle sessions. Keep me in mind for an anniversary or family session in the future! You can watch my recent films here.
Q: What form of payment do you accept?
A: Cash or check is preferred. Checks written to Lauren Carroll Photography. I also accept credit card with a 3% transaction fee.
