Let me start off with saying, I am absolutely in LOVE with Nottoway Plantation. It is GORGEOUS, romantic, and full of interesting history. Ashley and Chris decided to have an intimate, destination wedding at Nottoway on a Friday morning. Even though it rained and thundered, the day was absolutely perfect. Their ceremony took place in the White Ballroom, which is every photographer’s dream. Hellooo natural light! I could spend all day in there. The beauty just amazes me. As the officiant went through with the ceremony, thunder rumbled in the background. It made the moment feel so real and cozy. The intimacy of close family and friends cherishing this special moment with the couple almost had me in tears! The soft music from the Original Magnolia String Quartet made the moment feel like a true fairytale. After the ceremony, I had a full hour with Ashley and Chris to explore the plantation and take photos! We had a blast. After photos, Ashley and Chris participated in a dinner in the restaurant downstairs. The cake was beautiful and perfectly crafted. The food was amazing. The whole day was just perfect! I am so happy for Ashley and Chris! They are a wonderful couple.
