Alyssa: Mike and I met at an arcade we both worked at. I actually strongly disliked him because he started working there about a year after me and was promoted ahead of me. He always gave me a hard time and then became my boss. It was a nightmare! But we worked it out and eventually started dating a couple months later… after I quit! Mike proposed to me after my graduation dinner from getting my Master’s degree with all of my immediate family. He put the ring on top of a mini cupcake, and after I said yes, he smashed the cupcake in my face! :)

When the flower girl stopped at the top of the aisle and dropped all her flowers in one spot, my dad’s speech and our dance together to Debbie Deb’s “When I hear music,” being able to take beautiful pictures on the balcony over looking bourbon street thanks to our wonderful photographers, and of course second lining through the French Quarter with Kinfolk Brass Band!
